Our Unexpected Flight into Fame

It was Canada Day, and the atmosphere at Rock 95, Flying Pigs Marketing’s big brother – Barrie-based rock radio station – Rock 95 -was electric. To pump up our promotional game, the team unleashed their mighty mascot—Pinky, a gargantuan inflatable pig adorned with the Rock 95 logo. But what was meant to be a grounded affair soon turned skyward. A cheeky gust of wind played traitor, and Pinky, in all her 16-foot-long glory, took an unexpected flight, dancing over the skylines of southern Ontario.
As the city craned its necks skyward, following Pinky’s rebellious adventure, a brand was to be born. Flying Pigs Marketing gives a historical nod to the spirit of that day—unexpected, memorable, and a dash of delightful chaos. Just as Pinky defied gravity, we aim to defy expectations.
